Consulting Services provides support and solutions
that assist clients in capturing new business opportunities through the
competitive bidding process. Since 1996, I have assisted
more than 20 commercial companies in the pursuit of new business, and
re-competes. My consulting services include proposal capture management
services, training and marketing services. My services have generated
millions of dollars of new revenue for my clients. I also offer
additional support services including high-end graphics production and
pricing support through associate relationships.
BACKGROUND SUMMARY
An experienced sales and marketing professional specializing in Federal
Government proposal development, business development, sales training,
and other consulting services. I have performed as a Proposal Capture
Manager for Federal Data Corporation, Manager of Corporate Headquarters
Sales Training for Xerox Corporation, Vice President of Virginia
Information Systems Corporation (VISCO) − a UNIX Value-Added Reseller,
and other related experiences that have allowed me to approach proposal
development with a unique perspective.
Over the years, I have worked with technical teams ensuring a close
partnership with the pricing group. This close strategic technical and
cost planning has been rewarded with an outstanding win ratio of over
70% over the last four years.
CLIENTS
I have successfully captured new business through the competitive
proposal process for Technical and Management Services Corporation (TAMSCO),
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC); Information
Systems Support, Inc. (ISS); SFA, Inc. (formally Sachs, Freemen &
Associates); Federal Data Corporation (FDC); The Moone Group, Inc.;
Comsys Systems, Inc. (Comsys); and United Communications Systems, Inc. (UCS).
I am involved in the entire proposal development process including win
themes and strategies, story boards, high and low level outlining,
technical writing, graphics development, red and gold team reviews, and
production services.
HOW I WORK
Retainer-based agreements are typical for fixed fee services. I also
engage in performing tasks on a time and materials basis.
WHERE I WORK
I have full proposal production capability in my home office, an
established account with Staples for high volume reproduction services,
and an account with Federal Express. I also have a full featured laptop for client-site
work situations.
